Getting here

Avara takes place at Dunton Community Garden, near Biggleswade.

To keep everyone safe and protect the working farm, all families must arrive via the bridleway and track to the rear entrance.
The bridleway entrance can be found opposite 49 Cambridge Road, Dunton, Biggleswade on Google Maps.
Please do not follow online map directions to Dunton Community Garden. 

The short walk to the garden allows children to arrive slowly, notice the seasons, and transition into the session in a calm and peaceful way.

Important: For safety reasons, please do not drive up to the garden via the Church Street entrance through the farmyard.

A short walk to Avara

· Walk along Cambridge Road out of the village towards Eyeworth

· Cross the road to the bridleway entrance

· Follow the path straight ahead

· Turn right at the telegraph pole

· Continue along the track until you see the Dunton Community Garden sign

· Walk between the trees and turn left at the field

· Follow the path to the gate and walk through the willow arch into the garden

Where to park

There is no parking at the garden, so please allow a little extra time to park in Dunton and enjoy the short walk to Avara.

Parking in the village is residential, so we ask Avara families to spread out rather than all parking in the same area. There is on-street parking around the village and along Cambridge Road where it is safe and legal to park.

Please park thoughtfully. Please leave plenty of room around driveways and junctions, avoid parking directly opposite driveways, and make sure residents and emergency vehicles can get through easily.

From wherever you park, make your way to Cambridge Road and walk out of the village towards Eyeworth. You’ll find the bridleway entrance on the opposite side of the road.

Please don’t drive to the garden via Church Street or through the farmyard. All families with children must arrive via the bridleway
